The BACDT have been working with the Department of Health and Public Health England via their regular workshops that have taken place for a large part of the pandemic.
The document included in the email below from the Office of the Chief Dental Officer is an important step towards increasing the number of NHS patients accessing dentistry. This isn’t the final piece of the jigsaw but it is another milestone.
Equally the CDO will be holding a webinar for the dental profession, where you will be able to find out more about the SOP and the overall strategy for dentistry during Covid-19.

Yesterday we published the revised standard operating procedures for NHS dental services and published the first NHS dentistry and oral health bulletin.
