Representation
BACDT are recognised by the MHRA, GDC and CQC as the key organisation that represents Clinical Dental Technology. It is our priority to ensure that BACDT members are kept informed about regulatory changes and indeed to influence regulatory changes that may affect the profession of Clinical Dental Technology.
Since Clinical Dental Technology became a registered profession with the General Dental Council we have been committed to working with the regulator for the benefit of the profession and protection of the patient.
Currently BACDT are represented on the Dental Professional Forum and the Profession-wide Complaint Handling Initiative Working Group.
At the end of 2018, BACDT joined the International Federation of Denturists, this aims to help the association influence Clinical Dental Technology on an international stage as well as gain information to help progress Clinical Dental Technology at a national level.
