The 2025–2026 CPD cycle ended on 31 July 2026, and you are required to submit your annual CPD statement to the GDC by 28 August 2026.

What You Need to Do:
- Calculate the total number of verifiable CPD hours completed between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026.
- Log in to your MyGDC account to edit and submit your statement.
When Submitting Your Statement, You Must Confirm:
- The number of CPD hours completed this year (you can record zero hours completed but must meet minimum requirements)
- You have read and understood the CPD requirements
- The hours have been undertaken during this CPD year.
- You have kept a CPD record.
- The CPD was relevant to your field(s) of practice.
- The information provided is complete and accurate.
End-of-Cycle Requirements:
Your statement must also include:
- The total number of CPD hours completed over your five-year cycle.
- Confirmation that the CPD was relevant to your field(s) of practice.
CPD Minimum Requirements:
- Clinical Dental Technicians must complete at least 75 hours of verifiable CPD over five years.
- You must complete at least 10 hours of verifiable CPD in any consecutive two-year period.
- If you do zero hours in a given year, you must ensure you meet the 10-hour minimum in the year before or after.
Please note: If your CPD statement is not submitted by 28 August 2026, it will not be counted, and your registration may be at risk.
