On behalf of the BACDT Board, I would like to thank all the members that have taken part in this year’s Awards; whilst not everyone can win an award, I would like to acknowledge what a great testament it is to your work that a patient was motivated enough to nominate you for an award.

This award recognises the BACDT member that has set an example to other members on how to conduct themselves daily, both as a registered professional with the GDC and as a BACDT member, by honouring the principles and charter of the Association.

This award recognises the BACDT member that has been nominated by their patients for their outstanding support, from initial consultation through to final visit.

Most Welcoming Practice
This award recognises the investment made by a BACDT member in making their clinic welcoming for patients, based upon patient perception of the clinic from stylish décor to practical comfort.
- Winner: Sandra Davey-Snuggs
The Extra Mile Award
This award is judged on the impact a BACDT member has had on an individual’s welfare and wellbeing following their treatment, offering support that goes far beyond the dental chair and the expected standards of a registered dental professional.
