The BACDT Team is pleased to inform the membership that we today had a visit from the VAT Inspector and have been given a clean bill of health for all of the transaction that have taken place in the first year of the association.
We are equally pleased to announce that the BACDT is now working in partnership with the HMRC to look at getting CDTs qualification fees i.e. George Brown or KSS fee’s offset against your income tax bill, at present we are trying to establish whether we can date this back to pre registration courses as well as courses attended since registration.
It just goes to show that a VAT inspection isn’t always a bad thing, when you’re doing the job properly!!
The BACDT were made aware of the Radio 4 ‘Womens’ Hour’ feature on dentures, unfortunately for this feature the BDHF (British Dental Health Foundation) were the nominated body, however, we have since had a correspondence with Radio 4 and we are now looking at a CDT feature…watch this space, we may be asking you to help represent the CDTs of the UK on radio 4!!
